Stand with reddit: Sign the open letter against Internet censorship

Today, reddit blacked out its site in opposition to a bill in Congress that would censor the Internet and stifle online innovation. Powerful forces are pushing this bill through Congress -- which may start voting later this month. To stop this bill, we have to stand together.

An open letter to our representatives in Congress:

The freedom, innovation, and economic opportunity that the Internet enables is in jeopardy.

Congress is considering legislation that will dramatically change the Internet experience and put an end to reddit and many other sites we all use everyday. Internet experts, organizations, companies, entrepreneurs, legal experts, journalists, and individuals have repeatedly expressed how dangerous this bill is.

There are powerful forces trying to censor the Internet. However, by standing together as a community, we're sending a message of opposition to these bills.

Congress: Don't censor the Internet. Don't stifle online innovation. Don't pass this bill.
