BREAKING: Republicans just filibustered the commission to investigate the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol -- with only 35 votes! 54 senators voted FOR the commission.

Our democracy was attacked in broad daylight. People were killed. This commission is necessary to bring to light exactly what happened, how it happened, who made it happen, and what should be done so it never happens again.

The filibuster should be eliminated and Dems should create the commission on their own.
