PETITION: Congress Must Investigate Spying and Reform the Law

12/16/2013 UPDATE: A federal judge rules that the NSA's mass spying program is "likely unconstitutional" under the Fourth Amendment.

The Guardian's Glenn Greenwald reports that the government is monitoring millions of Americans' phone and Internet records. This spying is conducted "indiscriminately and in bulk – regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing."

Demand Congress investigate this unacceptable government spying on Americans -- and take action. Sign the petition:

It's outrageous that the government is monitoring millions of American phone calls and Internet records. Congress must investigate immediately, disclose its findings to the public, and curb the excesses of current law.
