Recently, 40 Democratic senators signed a letter or issued a statement saying they are willing to vote "yes" on the public option in reconciliation, which only requires a simple majority to pass a bill.
The latest include two members of Senate leadership -- Dick Durbin and Chris Dodd -- among others.
