The public option is back! They wrote it off for dead, but 35 senators and 120 members of the House have signed our letters asking Congress to pass a public option through 'reconciliation' -- a procedure that just requires a majority vote in the Senate. Can you add your name to our petition?

"Americans want a good health care bill with a public option, even if it passes with only Democratic votes. We would rather have a good bill than a bipartisan one."

Poll after poll shows that voters care more about a good health care bill than a bipartisan one. The more people who sign, the more leverage we'll have with Congress when pushing them to pass a public option. Here are the Senators that are standing in the way:

    • Sen. Daniel Akaka (HI)
    • Sen. Max Baucus (MT)
    • Sen. Evan Bayh (IN)
