On Wednesday, Jan. 27, Representatives Jared Polis and Chellie Pingree announced a letter to Senator Harry Reid, asking him to pass the public option through reconciliation, which only needs 51 votes in the Senate. In 24 hours, over 40 House members joined them on the letter, and the list is still growing.
