On Thursday, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin announced that the Senate would support any health care fixes passed by the house – and would oppose any not included in their reconciliation bill. Now, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a historic opportunity to take the reins back on behalf of the House of Representatives and the majority of Americans who want a public health insurance option.
