PETITION TO GOV. MALLOY AND STATE LAWMAKERS: I support increasing the minimum wage to $9.75/hr -- because hard-working families need a raise. Putting more money in the pockets of working families will fuel the economic recovery and show that Connecticut rewards hard work.
As reported in the Hartford Courant -- polling shows strong support from across the political spectrum for a bold minimum wage increase.
A majority of voters favor a minimum wage of $9.75/hr -- or higher -- including strong support from Republicans and Independents. 
Lawmakers should heed this call from the public and support a bold minimum wage increase!
