Republicans in Congress are trying to increase predatory junk fees -- an issue President Biden and Democrats have been working to push to the center of the 2024 conversation.

Specifically, they are trying to overturn a Biden Administration rule from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) that caps credit card late fees at just $8. That rule is lowering costs for millions of families by more than $200 a year.
