Watch Warren at the debate: "The filibuster is giving a veto to the gun industry. It gives a veto to the oil industry."

Elizabeth Warren pointed out in the South Carolina debate that if Democrats retake the Senate, Bernie Sanders would give Mitch McConnell a veto over a progressive agenda by continuing the ancient filibuster rule that goes beyond the Constitution and requires 60 votes instead of 50 to pass anything.
