PETITION: The U.S. Senate must not silence Elizabeth Warren

Republicans just outrageously silenced Elizabeth Warren for reading a 1986 letter from Coretta Scott King -- Martin Luther King's widow -- about Senator Jeff Sessions poor record on civil rights and racism.

The letter said, "Mr. Sessions has used the awesome powers of his office in a shabby attempt to intimidate and frighten elderly black voters."

Senator Jeff Sessions DOES have a history of making racist, derogatory comments and opposing laws that protect minority voters. It is unthinkable that he would be put in charge of enforcing voting rights protections.

Sign our petition to the Senate expressing outrage at silencing Warren. Stand in solidarity with her.

PETITION: The U.S. Senate must not silence Elizabeth Warren and must allow the letter from Coretta Scott King identifying Sessions' racism to be part of the debate.

We'll use this petition to show the media that no matter what Republicans do on the Senate floor, Elizabeth Warren will NEVER be silenced.
