Every time our country faces a gun tragedy, the big gun manufacturers fund the National Rifle Association to kill action in Congress.
This time, we're doing things differently. Democratic and Republican voters, rural and urban neighbors, and even gun owners are banding together to make this solemn promise:
"I will call the White House and Congress once a month until common-sense gun legislation is passed."
