The Democratic response to recent Supreme Court decisions should not be to simply ask Americans to elect more Democrats and to donate. Democrats should take whatever action they can now, even if some things fail. They should also lay out how they will use power after the election, and how they will challenge this runaway Court, if voters give Democrats more power.

We have no time for second-guessing Democratic leaders when fascists are trying to take over the country. Whether I agree or disagree with how Democratic leaders are handling every issue, we can worry about that later. People should give money, volunteer, and plan to vote because the country and the planet are at stake – and not make their election activity contingent on what Democratic leaders do or don’t do right now.
